Were I a black American, I would definitely have voted for Barack - TopicsExpress

Were I a black American, I would definitely have voted for Barack Obama, though warily on account of his tattered past and association with radicals. However, since Obama has been careful to suppress personal information about his past, even to the point we dont even know his legal name, I would still have voted for him as a symbol of the wonderful advances made by people of color in America. I cannot blame any black American for welcoming the sight of a mixed race candidate with a handsome family, brilliant smile, and extraordinary oratory skill. His message of change seemed to energize large segments of our people including people of color, women, immigrants, and of course lunatic progressives. What I do blame black America for is being fooled twice. No sector of our population has suffered more under Obama than have black Americans. Unemployment among black youths is at frightful levels, and a despair has settled in our inner-city urban neighborhoods. 94 per cent of black Americans put color ahead of reason in re-electing a man who plainly failed as president whose administration which purported to be color blind has ushered in greater racial animosity that I witnessed prior to the years of the civil rights movement. Skin color trumped prudence in re-electing a president whose record did not merit his re-election.
