Were I able to pen a novel like Dan Brown where a highly placed group of conspirators set out to disrupt and destroy America from the inside, I would simply follow the events of this Supreme Court today. First I would sanction a law like Citizens United to allow for the purchase of one or both chambers of that legislative body and together these conspirators and these legislators could paralyze the entire government. But why stop there when this Blitz-Krieg assault can act to divide and then conquer an entire nation without firing a single shot. The greatest non-military victory in history and certainly one for the record books. Realizing the chaos and havoc to the political process I could then further engage in despotic acts of sheer madness in aiding the establishment of a national religion by the recognition of corporate religious rights over the individual. Then again, why stop there? Attacking on all fronts these co-conspirators can legislate away the rights of unions to collectively bargain for a livable wage and benefit package. And, remember the “surge” tactic employed in Afghanistan? That same tactic can be employed to impede the voting of the public by requiring difficult to get ID cards and limited voting hours and days. The events of the past six years is not accidental but fit well into a long range plan to make America a “white only” managed country for the benefit of a few. The masses are mere fodder for the cannons. The Koch brothers stand atop their mountain and watch as they move men and machinery around as if toys. This causes me to recall a famous statement to wit: “if we do not hang together now, we shall surely hang separately later”. We must turn out in mass this November or simply lay back and enjoy the “legitimate rape” of us all after that date. Vote like your life depended on it,…….. it does.
