Were baaaackk (again). With us knocking on the doors of 73 & 60, it really is surprising to me, just how Tony and I have survived this long. Weve been unable to access the net for most of the last week. He rang Telstra to find out what they were doing to us and eventually got up and running for pretty much a day. Then for the last few days we havent been able to get back on. Finally hed had enough and bit the bullet and rang them again this morning. Hes that much of a customer, that when he rings them now, he quotes them a job number for it. The chap ran his diagnostics and came back on and informed him that we werent actually connected to the internet. Couldnt understand this because we had both checked everything out. We know how it all works as they get us to repeatedly do these things for them on our end. So down he goes, under the desk into the big black hole and thats when he found (ALL on his own) that someone had disconnected the actual lead out of the box between the modem and the line into the office. Im starting to think that we have someone actually living in one of our big black holes and they wander around at will and visit the other ones in the house and do weird and whacky things to us. We need to be more vigilant in the future to see if we can catch them out. Its driving us nuts. He he he.
