Were back after a little holiday hiatus. And, guess what? Our first foster, Davinci, took less than a week to find his permanent home! He is living with a terrific famly of four experienced dog owners, with two teenage children who adore him. Im not surprised -- this dog was just about perfect! If youve never fostered before, Im telling you, its an experience to remember. If youre not sure youre ready for the lifetime commitment to a dog, this is one way to help out, save a life, get your dog fix, and make a difference! A tip: fill out an application to foster through a rescue group BEFORE youre ready to jump in. That way, if you see a dog youd love to rescue, youre ready to go with pre-approval. Our application took a few days for approval -- not something you want to jam into a ten-hour period!
