Were back home in Iceland after playing Sweden Rock Festival and ROCK HARD Festival this weekend. Both were absolutely great despite some really bad luck at RH. When Addi opened his Flying V case an hour before gig he discovered that that neck of the guitar had broken (again!) on the flight over from Sweden. Luckily Dead Lord were kind enough to lend us theirs despite the fact that they had no idea who we even were. Super big thanks to them, and do check them out if you like good rocknroll! Then comes change over and line check and everything seems to be working fine, but as the intro is about to finish Addis amp decided to die a sudden death and it didnt make a single sound. With help from the super professional crew at RH the amp was quickly changed and the rock could commence. But all troubles were not over. In the beginning of the last song the head of the ride cymbal stand simply fell off. No matter how much I and the crew tried to fasten it it just would not stay there. But again the crew was quick to replace it with another one so no harm there, as you can hear in the video below. Some gigs are just like that... but at the end we had a really great time, and thats what counts! -Guðmundur
