Were having a Thanksgiving photo contest. Rick pitched this idea to Miranda first, and was like, you know sometimes I like to put mashed potatoes all over my turkey. Sometimes I like to put my cranberry sauce all over my stuffing because its good. Maybe we should have people take pictures of our pie mixed with some other Thanksgiving food because mixing food is the best. And she was all like ew, gross. And he was all like, dont gross me, think of all the flavors happening! And she was all like, youre nasty and that idea is bad. And he was all YOU DONT HAVE THE DELICATE PALATE THAT I DO AND YOURE JEALOUS AND I CANT HELP THAT IM FULL OF GOOD IDEAS. So were coming up with better contest rules. Here they are: i.) Take a PRETTY picture of Rule of Pies pie happening among your Thanksgiving spread. Now, if youve got a really awesome spread, full of really awesome food, youre going to want to do this. Hashtag us. AND/OR ii.) Take a FUN(NY) picture of Rule of Pie happening among your family and friends and come up with some kind of CREATIVE ENOUGH hashtag so we can use it later. Its not theft if we tell you were going to take it before hand. iii.) Post your pictures and hastags to our Timeline. Winners get a couple free piping hot cups of SteamShovel on us next time youre in the shop. How the judging works, or how were going to define the MOST PRETTY picture and/or the MOST FUN(NY) picture and accompanying CREATIVE ENOUGH hashtag: Do we like your picture the best? If the answer is yes, and we like your picture the best, then youre going to win. Well be sure to notify you by way of announcement here. If the answer is no, and we like another picture the best, then here are some preemptive thanks and condolences. Take comfort in a bit of advice my Grandfather gave me when it became apparent to him that I could throw a golf club farther than I could hit a golf ball: you cant be the best at everything.
