Were living in an era, in Cincinnati anyway, which rewards the guy who continually refuses to do his homework, turns a blind eye to his lies about fulfilling assigned reading, and shrugs when he seeks help from his older colleagues to get him out of obligations any respectable person would work to fulfill. Its called dignity. Hes called Cranley, we can have one but not the other. Its ROI and cost benefit analysis, among other invaluable tools that reflect sound business protocol for clients and citizens alike. This isnt a toy train, its an investment. This isnt SimCity; this is a real functioning city with needs for density, transit, and agglomeration of resources. This isnt a bubble; this is Cincinnati. I stood proudly with hundreds of people in a packed and stacked library last night, one that was built as a legacy for the benefit of many future generations. Cincinnati deserves to be built to last and outlast political rhetoric.
