Were looking to hire an On Call cafe staff member at PlayHappy Cafe (formerly known as Playdate Cafe). Were in Lynnwood, just off 196th and 44th. Looking for someone with at least 1 year of food & beverage experience working at a cafe or restaurant (mostly cashiering, food handling/service and cleaning) and has open availability on weekdays (and possibly weekends if youre available) to help sub for employees who are out sick or have to tend to other matters. The hours may be minimal or up to 10-20 hours per week and would vary week by week depending on our scheduling needs. You are not guaranteed a certain number of hours per week, or given a weekly schedule. You will be called in as needed. The shifts would probably be approx 10am-5pm or 3pm if you need to leave to pick up children from school. This would be a good position for someone who has kids in grade school (or older) or available childcare they can arrange quickly. Or perhaps you are a grandparent, an empty nester or someone just looking to make a little extra money and has an open schedule. We are more or less staffed up for our busy season but on occasion we have one (or more) staff who cant work due to things that come up, a sick child, illness (and we encourage them to stay home so the rest of us and our customers stay healthy!) or other obligations.
