Were officially in the last day of 2014, such an eventful year that felt so long! Glad it passed. Its scars will remain, like a bittersweet memory for it is attached with beloved people whose souls war kidnapped and places which its features became unrecognisable. Yet I shall embrace the good remains that it left, value and appreciate what I got, the dear ones in my life whose mark has been visible in our everyday battle for life and survival. I shall move onward and keep hope as hope is what keeps life livable. I shall live and hope and strive to have the impossible come possible while home, Palestine, is always my first and final destination. Golden slumbers fill your eyes. Smiles awake you when you rise. Sleep prettying darling do not cry. And I will sing you a lullaby
