Were on our way home!! OMLloyd!!!! Memphis, oh how I love you!!! It was one of the highlights of our vacation!! What a town!!! The carriage ride, the trip to Mud Island, the walk down Beal Street on motorcycle night, the visit to the Kings place, all of the live music on Beale Street, and last, but surely not, the Peabody Ducks!!! I got to see the ducks up close right in front of the Duck Trainer, as he gave the March command!! One of the Peabody personnel came and got me because I was in a wheelchair. He wanted to make sure that I got to see them. I was impressed with the Peabody, but there was so much activity that we were glad that we didnt stay there. We loved the Courtyard! We were on the second floor, bout three steps around the corner from the elevators. Also, we were right at the upstairs patio. It, too, was on the second floor. We had a nice view of the courtyard of the hotels that opened into the lower courtyard. We had dinner at a fabulous steakhouse last evening. We had the worlds best waiter, Reco. Heres a picture of him with Len. His service was to die for. He wants to comment and visit us. That would be so cool!! Hed have culture shock by getting out of the city!!! The whole experience was like a fairy tale. More later. Its time to stop for breakfast. Chatty, over and out!! :)
