Were only partially dumbed down, desensitized, and apathetic until something awful happens directly to us. Thats what they count on, not enough of us caring enough to act in our own self-interest enough of the time, particularly during midterm elections. Their institutional and corporate-person-funded relentlessness is winning so far. Personally, if history is useful as a guide, its only when the powerful develop a critical mass of hubris that they push too hard and then otherwise moderate milk toast types turned into violent revolutionaries. Unfortunately, given the state of known and suspected black ops technology, the days of the ballot box, much less spontaneous successful revolution (see Bolivia) are numbered. Id say Vision 2020 (see Full Spectrum Dominance) is the deadline for anything to be done to stop the permanent Orweillian boot on our collective human faces forever short of faux alien attack, which is very likely on the menu too if all else fails to get THEM to their whole one big world order thingy. Itll be down to a coin flip, and not a pretty one.
