Were pleased to inform that the 16 year old girl and her 13 year old brother who were detained for over 22 days in Bo Police Station have now been released! AdvocAid worked hard with the Human Rights Commission to press the State Counsel and Police to either charge or release the juveniles as well as ensure that they had access to medical and welfare needs. The Constitution provides that suspects should not be detained for more than 10 days in a police station without being charged or released. #justicematters
