Were really sorry, but due to a serious road accident on the Medina Way northbound carriageway earlier today involving a car and a pedestrian there has been, and remains, serious disruption to our bus network. This likely to continue until Police re-open the road which they say may not be for another three hours whilst they carry out their investigations. Some of our buses are being delayed to such an extent that a return journey from Newport to Ryde and back which would normally take a little over an hour is now taking up to three and a half hours. We are endeavouring to run as many services as possible, but with these delays the number will inevitably be reduced as our drivers are also running out of driving hours. Virtually all our services are now affected but we are doing as much as we possibly can. We thank you for your patience and apologise for the inconvenience which is beyond our control.
