Were reviewing the Despatch ezine and wed like your ideas. For some time now weve been aware that a lot of what goes out in Despatch has already been sent out in email alerts. Despatch has also been very one-way - theres no easy way for you to comment on articles, ask questions about them or share them. So were looking at how we can do this in a better way. One idea were looking at is whether we could publish it in the form of a blog. By this we mean: - articles would be written by named people, eg Mark Magee (ADI Registrar), Lesley Young (Chief Driving Examiner), Alastair Peoples (DVSA Chief Executive) etc - articles wouldnt just duplicate whats already been sent out on email - youd get to hear the views and opinions of the author - youd be able to comment on any article, leave questions or feedback and theyd be replied to in the same place Wed provide email alerts to let you know when there was something new on the blog. How does that sound to you? Do you want to hear from specific people in DVSA? What kind of articles do you want to hear about? Just those specifically on ADI related matters that DVSA has a statutory role in, or wider road safety issues too? Any and all ideas and feedback gratefully received.
