Were so grateful to everyone who came out for our Campaign Kickoff Event last night! We are truly blessed to have so many dear friends and supporters join us, and all of your heartfelt enthusiasm and encouragement has meant the world to us! Thanks also to the countless friends who have called, emailed and texted to say they were there in spirit(!) but had to attend one of the myriad other events going on simultaneously last night (NBA game at CenturyLink; Parkway vs. Byrd game; 45th Annual Haughton Homecoming Parade; opening of State Fair; etc; etc.). Dont worry-- as busy parents of four active kids, we get it! : ) As I summarized last night, I believe the next few years will provide an unprecedented opportunity for our great state to serve as a model for the rest of the nation that is gradually losing its way, and I look forward to helping to lead that charge. I truly believe Louisianas brightest days are ahead of us! Theres much more to come as our campaign rolls out over the next few months and into the special election in February! Were truly blessed and excited by the extraordinary momentum that all of you have helped to create!!
