Were winding back a decade tonight with Ill Niño to a concert the New Jersey-based band performed in Pennsylvania. The footage recorded made its way onto their DVD Live From The Eye Of The Storm, with the entirety of the setlist being made up from their first two albums Revolution Revolutión and Confession. Since then, theyve released four more studio albums, and amassed a loyal following from within metal circles the world over. What has contributed to Ill Niños success is their distinct sound, combining elements of alternative and nu metal with Latin American, of which the band collectively draw from their rich multicultural heritage. Its this embrace of their culture which has seen them so prominent throughout South America, but their fanbase here in Australia is equally as impressive.
