Were you a scout? I wanted to be a Girl Scout, and I was in scouting for about a minute. Unfortunately, my schedule was not conducive to sticking with it. I had dance lessons five nights a week, piano lessons, violin lessons, youth symphony, church obligations, and, of course, schoolwork. My mom saw how stressed out I was getting and took me out. I never even went camping as a scout! Which, as it turns out, is just fine, as I discovered a few years later that I really despise camping.
