West Lothian Advice Shop is joining the team at the successful Broxburn Business Gateway Office at 4 Greendykes Road, from Wednesday, 23 April. The new service will see a weekly Advice Shop session available every Wednesday from 9.30am to 1pm, for people from Broxburn and the surrounding area. The Business Gateway premises at 4 Greendykes Road provide a local hub for the delivery of the West Lothian Economic Growth Plan. West Lothian Advice Shop can offer help with benefits issues, making claims, appealing unfair decisions and representation at tribunal, money and energy advice, to arrange an appointment with an adviser drop into Broxburn Gateway, or call 01506 283400. The Advice Shop will complement the existing services in Broxburn, which includes Business Gateway Start Up/Growth support, Access2employment, West Lothian Credit Union and computers for public use.From Thursday 1 May, IT buddies (volunteers) will be available two mornings a week to help people who are new to computers to get started. There are six computers available for anyone wanting to search for a job online, prepare a CV and apply online. The computers can also be used by businesses. Support and advice is available from Access2employment with appointments available every Thursday and West Lothian Credit Union is available on a Monday morning.
