West Mercia Police Investigate Theft Of Pheasants From Worcester Farm : More than 1,000 pheasants have been stolen from pens on farmland at Leigh, Worcester. Police investigating the theft have appealed for information to identify the offenders and trace the birds. Around 1,200 pheasants together with 150 pure white pheasants worth a total of about £4,725 were taken from pens at Little Brockamin Farm, Dingle Road, Leigh sometime between the beginning of July and 22 August. A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “The offenders would have been on site for a considerable length of time and may well have been spotted. “We are urging anyone with information about those responsible, or anyone who has been offered pheasants for sale in suspicious circumstances, to contact Worcester police station on 101. “Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.”
