West Townshend Farmers Market Come join us at the West Townshend County Store this Independence Day! We are hosting our weekly farmers market this and every Friday until October 10, 2014 in the heart of the West River Valley. We will have a selection of delicious foods and beautiful crafts. Come try our homemade soaps and salves, teas and tinctures, and plants and veggies. Come try Wild Shepherd Farms grass fed beef and West Townshend Botanicals homemade breads! Rebecca Lepkoff & Family will be selling ducks and rabbits, and Taft Hill Farm will have their beautiful glasswork. In addition to our famous wood fired top-your-own pizzas, a large number of our vendors have prepared foods. Come eat Thai Huts delicious hot foods and Deer Ridge Farms fried cauliflower! This week we have a special addition to our pizza selection. To showcase our vendors amazing products, we will be featuring a special pizza topping each week for an additional 2$. Please come and support our farmers and enjoy their tasty products! This weeks special topping is Wild Shepherd Farms amazing garlic scape pesto. Once you try it youll never get enough! The market is open weekly on Fridays from 4-7 rain or shine! In the event of stormy weather, look for us in the church next door.
