West to southwest winds of 15-25 mph with gusts over 40 mph will occur in open country of the Sierras eastward into Mono County today and Thursday. Otherwise, onshore winds will continue to produce breezy conditions in the Antelope Valley and Banning Pass through the period. Late Thursday night into Friday morning, some wind gusts to 35 mph will be possible near the I-5 Corridor. Temperatures will be slightly cooler the next few days. Minimum RH will likely fall into the teens the next couple of days at higher elevations in the Sierras. Less wind is expected in Central California by the weekend.
