Westampton, NJ: Guess who almost found a home Thursday? April has been at the Burlington County Animal Shelter since April 2013. She is a sweetheart of a dog. A potential adopter came to meet her and was ready to take her home, but unfortunately she lives in an apartment complex that wont allow her breed to reside there, regardless of meeting her or knowing what a sweet gal she is. She was discriminated against because of how she looks, not who she is. The adopter said, Im so sad I cant take April. It really breaks my heart. She is such a sweet girl and I felt like we would have been good with each other. Please help April find her forever home by sharing this with someone you know that is looking to adopt an awesome dog.
