Western MMD Expels PF Minister Limata The Western Province MMD has expelled Luampa Member of Parliament Josephine Limata from the party for allegedly converting the party’s structures into Patriotic Front membership. Limata, who is an MMD legislator but serving in the PF government where she is Western Province minister, has admitted promoting PF in her constituency and the province. MMD provincial spokesperson Danny Nchenga said Limata had been destabilizing the party and her expulsion had been forwarded to the National Executive Committee. Nchenga said a full executive committee that sat on April 5 recommended Limata’s expulsion and forwarded the decision to the NEC.
