Western leaders and Russian President Vladimir Putin set aside their differences Friday to commemorate the 70th anniversary of D-Day in Ouistreham, France. Surprising the world, Putin and Ukrainian President-elect Petro Poroshenko met and discussed the ongoing crisis. Although the two leaders agreed the bloodshed must end, there is still much ground to be covered before they see eye-to-eye. RTs Marina Kosareva reports from Ouistreham on the days events.
