Western media and governments only care about the term democracy. They do not care about racist policies of the government as shown by Rabuka and Qarase governments. The scholarships, intake to medical schools, race based agricultural support, and bills such as Qoliqoli were some examples of racism in a democracy of pre 2006. It is sad that some of the new political parties and politicians are singing the same song in order to take advantage of racial based voting.
