Westgate Shopping Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa Malls like this can only be found in South Africa and Namibia, the rest of the continent has nothing to compare to it. The first time I was at Westgate was 2007 after AIR ETHIOPIA lost my luggage and I needed suitable Safari type clothing for a three month stay in the African bush. I was surprised to find an American style enclosed mall on the Dark Continent, and I did come up with what I needed. PS: Centre is correct, that is the British spelling
