Weston Branch of American Association of University Women is pleased to announce 2014 – 2015 AAUW Fellowships and Grants American Fellowships, Dissertations Fellowships, Postdoctoral Research Leave Fellowships and Summer/Short-Term Research Publication Grants support women scholars. Applications are available on Aug. 1, 2013; deadline is Nov. 15, 2013 for grant period Jul. 1, 2014 – Jun. 30, 2015. Career Development Grants support women who hold a bachelor’s degree and are preparing to advance their careers, change careers, or re-enter the workforce. Applications are available on Aug. 1, 2013; deadline is Dec.15, 2013 for grant period Jul. 1, 2014 – Jun. 30, 2015 Community Action Grants provide seed money to women, AAUW branches, AAUW State organizations, and nonprofit organizations for innovative programs or non-degree research projects that promote education and equity for women and girls. Applications are available on Aug. 1, 2013; deadline is January 15, 2014; One-year grant is for Jul. 1, 2014 – Jun. 30, 2015; two-year grant is for Jul. 1, 2014 – Jun. 30, 2016. Selected Professions Fellowships are awarded to women to pursue a master’s or professional degree program in Architecture (M. Arch.), Computer/Information Sciences (MS), Engineering (ME or MS), and Mathematics/Statistics (MS).Applications are Available on Aug. 1, 2013; deadline is Jan. 10, 2014 for grant period Jul.1, 2014 – Jun. 30, 2015 Only US citizens or permanent residents can apply for the above. International Fellowships give awards for full-time study or research to women who are not US citizens or permanent residents.
