Westwind Stewardship Group (WSG) is deeply saddened by the tragedy at Westwind today that took the life of a 14-year-old boy. We extend our profound sorrow and concern for his family, friends and the Oya No Kai community. The boy who died was a participant in a school rental group. Two doctors and a nurse who were part of the group responded at the scene and provided immediate medical support. Lincoln County Sheriff deputies were called to the scene promptly and have determined the event was accidental. Westwind is an American Camp Association-accredited facility and camp that is owned and operated by the Westwind Stewardship Group.
