Wet Blanket Alert; This is what is Trend Ting now and what will follow is the arrival of these gift dogs in the shelters and rescues. I dont care what anyone says, it is NEVER, EVER OK to give a dog as a gift. Give a card suggesting that you (and the family) go together to the shelter, rescue or reputable breeder to select a dog. That way everyone is on-board with the decision. The chance for the dog to be a lifetime commitment is much better than him getting POINTS and the dog being dumped later!!! JMHO
