Wet N’ Wild Weekend!!! Hey campers!!! Can you believe it has already been a week since our super fun 4th of July weekend?! We hope everyone had a great time, we know we did!! There were so many different activities for all of our loyal campers and even though the weather put a damper on things in the beginning we bounced back!! Now onto the next one…this weekend is wet n’ wild weekend, everything we do is going to have something to do with water because let’s face it, it has been very very hot up here at the Pines and we deserve to cool off every now and then…so let’s do this! Friday, July 11th 5:00 PM Dinner is served!! Meet Marilyn in the kitchen to be sure you get some of her yummy made to order food that is a hit every weekend! 6:30 PM It’s wagon ride time!! Like we do on a weekly basis, we must start this weekend off right with our wagon ride that allows all of our campers to relax before the good times truly start. Meet Gary behind the pavilion to make sure you get your spot. 7:30 PM BINGO!! BINGO!! It’s BINGO time! Again, it would not be a weekend here at the Pines without some BINGO. Make sure you get there on time because the game starts promptly at 8! Test your luck and see what you will win! We hope to see you all there! 8:00 PM It’s party time! Meet at the REC site for some music fun, with a fire, some s’mores and much more! It is a great way to catch up with all of our camping friends that we don’t see other than on the weekends! It is sure to be a great time so make sure you stop by! Saturday, July 12th 9:00 AM It’s breakfast time! If you can get up early enough you will be able to have some yummy breakfast made by our very own Katie so you have a nice full belly for the wagon ride. 10:30 AM Wagon ride! Wagon ride! Every body rise and shine to make sure you get a seat on this adventure! Gary is excited to see all of his regulars and some of our campers who have never been on our wagon ride too (you won’t regret it)! Meet behind the pavilion. 11:00 AM Who is ready to build some intense and beautiful sand castles?! Well meet by the swings to see what you are capable of! It is going to be a great time at a beautiful place. We hope to see all of our campers there! 1:00 PM It’s craft time! Marilyn is always sure to please when it comes to our crafts. This week we have a sand craft (quite fitting, huh), meet here on the pavilion to create a masterpiece unique to yourself. 2:00 PM—4:00 PM It is game time…water games that is! Meet in the back field ready to get wet and have a great time! We will be having a balloon toss, greased watermelon game, a potato head game, frozen t-shirt game, and a balloon bump! Who would want to miss out on this fun?! I sure wouldn’t, see you all there! 6:00 PM We here at White Pines think it is just about time for a pot luck social…please bring a family style dish to share with all of the other campers. It would be appreciated if you can bring your own plates and utensils as well. Please sign up in the store by 5 PM so we can have a head count of who will be attending. 7:00 PM It’s time for the Pour Tour!!! There will be a 50/50 and prize raffle—tickets are available in the store. This is going to be a wonderful time benefitting a great cause, we hope to see everyone there! Sunday, July 13th 10:30 AM Oh no! The weekend is already over! It’s okay, one last wagon ride might numb the pain a little bit before the fun of next weekend starts. Meet Gary behind the pavilion for one last ride before the weekend is over. Campers, thank you all so much for always having a great time up here at the Pines! We would not be able to do this without each and every one of you. We hope you all had a great weekend and can’t wait to see you next weekend for Christmas in July! Santa will be in attendance so make sure you have all been on your best behavior…See you next weekend!
