Weve ALL heard horror stories about incidents between law enforcement and family pets gone wrong and wish something could be done to lessen the occurrences of them. We are thrilled that National Canine Research Council with the help of Safe Humane Chicago and the U.S. Dept. of Justice have put together a new video resource for any police department or law enforcement agency to watch, to learn safer and better ways to conduct themselves when encountering dogs on the job. Many times, police officers are just lacking in education and knowledge about what to do in these situations and this video series fills that need. Please share far and wide, maybe even send the information to your local police department and ask them to consider watching it.
