Weve all been encouraged to support the troops. Support the troops we see on bumper stickers or FB memes or whatnot, or I support the troops or conversely, why do you hate the troops?! lol. So lets break this down. Lets say I cave and say yeah, I suppose Ill support the troops. Now what do I do? Do I send them money? Is it as simple as, in conversation with friends, that I laud them? How will they know that one person out of millions has just affirmed them, and how does this support them? How the freaking hell does someone actually conform with the admonition to support the troops in any meaningful way? Please dont ask me what I think this is really all about. Well be up all night and ticked off.
