Weve been asked by a few people (not nearly as many as we expected) as to why SCCA made no endorsement in the 10th AD, and why we were not supporting the incumbent. Well, there is no short answer, but bottom line is no candidate received the 2/3 threshold needed for endorsement by the SCCA Board of Directors, and that we are not confident in the incumbents track record from the past year and a half [voting against enabling the CA Coastal Commission to enforce the Coastal Act (No Vote on AB 976), and his dance with bad environmental players (Fracking Interests, Big Ag)]. We hope he changes his ways, as its a tall order to oust an incumbent; but until then, enjoy the silly season ad below and consider your options...
