Weve been brainwashed to think that love is just a sweet sentiment you find in a Hallmark card. It is ultimate reality. It is the force field from whence we came and to which well return when our physical body dies. In his anti-Vietnam War speech Beyond Vietnam, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, When I speak of love I am not speaking of some sentimental and weak response. I am not speaking of that force which is just emotional bosh. I am speaking of that force which all of the great religions have seen as the supreme unifying principle of life. Love is somehow the key that unlocks the door which leads to ultimate reality. In our thoughts today, let us have enough mental toughness to discern what is true (love) from what is false (fear), and let all things flow from truth.
