Weve been home since Thursday and are enjoying being in the comfort of our own beds. We spent all day yesterday diving around looking for a Christmas tree to cut down but they were all already cut! We ended having to go to Lowes but dont regret it. Our tree is beautiful! We got the entire house decorated in a few hours and it has definitely brightened this place up. I love the Christmas season. We have so much to thank God for everyday and what warmer feeling than celebrating the birth of his son!? Evan is still recovering from the gastroenteritis and we are having some issues with slow gastric emptying. Hes still vomiting occasionally and still having diarrhea, but its not as bad. Hopefully hell be back to normal soon. I took Liz to the santa breakfast at her school yesterday and was so humbled by the warm welcome we received from so many people asking how Evan was. We are so thankful to live in such a warm community. Liz has been fighting a bad cold. She is thrilled we are all home. We are praying she gets better soon, for her sake as well as Evans.
