If you want to make sure Fidos teeth are clean and plaque-free, give him a raw meaty bone, like a beef rib or shank bone. They have a mildly abrasive texture and can flex around the teeth. The natural chewing motion, combined with the enzymes in the raw meat and fat will be more effective than any hard, dry kibble, which most often is swallowed whole.
