Weve been talking quite a bit recently about how to know whether or not God knows you.....because He tells those in Matthew 25 that He doesnt know them. Matthew 25:11-12. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Matthew 7:22-23. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. So......Im thinking these are believers who didnt do something right.......but thats not the case. Look at the scripture below. The Lord knoweth them that are His. That means those who He doesnt know arent His!!! 2 Timothy 2:19. Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, THE LORD KNOWETH THEM THAT ARE HIS. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. The way this works is that how God leads us depends entirely on our willingness to submit ourselves to His authority and control. If we SURRENDER to Him, we arent going to be walking in sin while He is in control. You have to SHUN HIM to walk in sin as a believer. Dont do it.......its not worth staying here for. Weve got to choose Him over our sin and turn our backs on it. It hinders your relationship with Him to hang on to something He died to save you from. Its insulting to Him, and it hurts His precious feelings. Seem too hard? Well, look at it this way - will it seem too hard once the first evacuation occurs and you find yourself still here?? Youll be panic stricken, scared out of your wits - and the only thing you will want in the whole world at that moment is to go with the children. Ask yourself if your sin is worth staying here and laying your head on a chopping block for.......or running from the devil as he walks the earth in the antichrists body. COMPLETE SURRENDER...........just tell Him, Lord, I give you my life - I surrender this life to you to do with it whatever YOU WILL. Please save me and use me to bring glory to your wonderful Name!! If you mean that prayer, it will change your life. Get your face in your bible and start learning......so you can take your rightful place in the Kingdom when Jesus arrives. You can feel it inside if Hes calling you.......:) You know you should do it, but you allow reasons to flood your mind that fight for why you shouldnt. Dont be a wimp!!! We are talking about the King of Kings here!! He died for you......He deserves MORE than a passing thought from you. Where is your courage to stand for what you know is right?? DO RIGHT AND RISK THE CONSEQUENCES!!!!
