Weve discussed on this page a lot about being straight forward in adjudication and in conclusion its how someone is brought up, if you were brought up in a family where your mum used to steal money from your selfish father then gave it to you to hide it because your father will search your mother and we expect you to be a fair judge, we are kidding ourselves. But thats not my concern today, I just remembered a scene in Kagumo, where by an individual who adjudicated a certain region was coming from the hall extremely excited and this were his words,NATO, UMEONA HIO DANCE? HAPANA MWALIM. YOU JUST MISSED THE WINNING DANCE, THE DANCE HAD SOUNDTRACKS. At first I thought he was making fun of the dance, but realized he was serious that if he was on the bench he would give that dance position one because they used soundtracks. It took me 5 minutes or less to tell him why it cannot be the winning dance despite the fact I hadnt watched and the guy agreed with me 100% without an argument. This gentleman adjudicated the regionals: 1. Is he qualified to adjudicate at such a competitive stage? 2. If I co adjudicated with him and am the adjudicator who has a thief mother, wouldnt it be easy to manipulate his thoughts?
