Weve had a number of posts lately requesting adoptable Persians. Heres how to find kitties near you who need good homes, in addition to watching this groups posts: * Petfinder. Type in your zip code and choose the breed youre looking for. And keep checking. * Rescueme.org. Keep checking here, too. * Craigslist, in your local area. * Local and city shelters. * Not-too-far-away rescues who may have adoptable Persians. Theres a list of Persian-friendly U.S. rescues under our files tab. DO expect to: * Travel or arrange transport. The right cat may not fall into your lap. * Pay a suitable adoption fee. A lot of love, care, food and medical treatment goes into getting a kitty adoption-ready, especially a Persian. So do expect to pay a few hundred dollars as an adoption fee. Stephanie, Admin.
