Weve had a quiet day today, and to be honest Ive had a hard day getting back into the swing of things. Jon David had a good workout with Henry and even increased the weight that he is lifting. So we were pleased about that. After his work out he had a sweet friend, Alana from Fayetteville come visit and she brought Jon David a framed photo of his name on the sidewalk at the U of A. It was such a thoughtful gift and we really enjoyed her visit! Maly came this evening to work out his arms the fact that she does this after a full day of work for her, still amazes and humbles me. Ive noticed that Jon David is quiet today and I dont know why, there seems to be a little distance between us and I dont like it. But then again Im no ball of fire today either. He needs some fun in his life and something to look forward to, but I cant get him interested in doing much but his therapy.......Dave reminds me all the time....what 23 year old WANTS to do anything with his parents? But His options are limited. There are a lot of things I need to do and want to do this week, but Im fighting some emotions that will remain unspoken right now........ Hoping tomorrow will be a lighter day for both of us. Love, Jacki
