Weve had so much happy news this past week it is with great sorrow that we are forced to follow it with sad. Curtis and Dawson were euthanized today. Although we have been working day and night to network the shelter pups at WCAC, as have our fans; the influx of stray and unwanted dogs simply exceeded the number of pups going to rescue or being adopted. Shelter workers did everything in their power to keep every dog alive in hopes that they would be saved. However, the shelter became overwhelmed with too many dogs, and nowhere for them to go. We lost Benny last night to a viral infection that he initially seemed to be fighting off. Rest in Peace sweet babies. Please remember we have a zero tolerance policy toward negative comments directed at shelter staff. Negative comments will be deleted, and the commentor banned permanently.
