Weve had some issues with our email at the Phoenix store. Here is the weekly email: Hey Samurais! Wednesday July 23rd is National Batman Day! I am really bummed out that I wont be at the store for this day, the day of my favorite character (this is Samurai Chris that writes these emails...remember?). On the plus side, Ill be in San Deigo for the San Diego Comic Con! But on the negative side, Ill be missing out on all the crazy awesome Batman masks, capes, and just all around awesomeness that marks the 75th Anniversary of the Dark Knight. So I need to see some awesome photos of our customers wearing the free Batman masks and capes well be handing out at all the stores.. Post your pics on Facebook and make sure to tag Samurai Comics in them! Show the world your Batman pride, and let me live vicariously through you all as I stand in never ending lines! At the Samurai Comics on Camelback Road, LepreCon Science Fiction Convention will be celebrating National Batman Day on location! There will be give-a-ways, and a $5 dollar raffle for all sorts of Bat-tastic stuff, including an original painting celebrating Batmans 75th Anniversary done by none other than the wildly talented Samurai Yvette! In addition, the good folks of LepreCon are accepting art supplies for Phoenix Childrens Hospital! Meanwhile, at the Samurai Comics in Mesa, they are celebrating National Batman Day by having Chad Heinrich (https://facebook/Chadheinrichart) onsite! Starting at 11AM, Chad will be doing live art and will be selling sketch covers and prints including new art created exclusively for Samurai Comics that you wont find anywhere else! If you can attend, stop on by and say hi while you pick up your 75th Anniversary Batman masks, comics, and more! And of course all 3 stores will have the special edition Detective Comics #27 comic. Supplies of the comics and mask are limited, so it is a first come first serve basis!
