Weve had the honor over the years to record several songs that Miss Dixie and Tom T. Hall wrote. Our Little World which is on our So Much In Between record sticks out vividly because after we had decided to record this song we were sitting with Miss Dixie and Tom T. at their home in Nashville. Tom T. said that the words in the first line a little ole cabin outback, breeze blowing in through the cracks were originally a little ole cabin outback, dust blowing in through the cracks, but Miss Dixie refused to have it say dust because of course like most of us women are...we hate dust and so did she, so they changed the lyrics and came up with breeze instead of dust:) Its moments and stories like these that we will cherish forever from a lady who made an impact in our lives and music!
