Weve had this lobby in SC as well. I hope the vets who back this legislation read this article and the accompanying comments. Basically, if you are known as a veterinarian who works in cooperation and partnership with shelters, rescue groups and other animal welfare organizations, you have a much better chance of attracting a millennial pet owner as a client than if you aren’t. And if you are known as someone who is actively working against the low-cost service providers in your community, then lord help you: That 28-year-old mother of 1.5 is going to get on her social media megaphone and broadcast your infamy to her entire world.
