Weve had to replace so many parts and pieces related to my sons Naidas. Its really turning out to be bummer. Here is the comment I posted on the latest survey that I took after returning product under the warranty: You replaced defective product without complaint and in record time. Bravo. Customer service is not the problem. Im getting so tired of having to replace product related to the Naidas. Yes, they are wonderful, when they are actually working. This summer, my son has worn his Harmonys more than his Naidas. He has had his Naidas since November and we have had to replace most everything multiple times. Feel free to check my math, but I believe we are on our 6th processor, 3rd Com-pilot (our personal one 2x, the schools 1x), 4 wires, 3 mics, and 3 batteries. The Naidas are not up to the quality of the Harmonys. In the 3 1/2 years that my son wore the Harmonys we replaced a processor 1x. We replaced the cables approximately very 5 months (expected) and didnt replace the batteries for 3 1/2 years. Not only are the Naidas not up to the quality of the Harmonys, but they are certainly not durable for pediatric use. Two microphones have broken when the processor hit the ground. My son has his processors tethered, but accidents do happen and the equipment should be able to stand up to pediatric wear and tear. I guess I wouldnt be so surprised or upset if the Harmonys hadnt performed so well. I fear the day when these processors are out of warranty and we have to pay for replacement parts. Im going to have get a second job...
