In transplanting organs, patients would stabilize better while their transplants are prepped. Can you imagine being able to grow our organs in lab whilst infusing tardigrade genetic material? Even in an unideal, makeshift field hospital no determent would be observable. By augmenting our ability to sustain life, including oxygen deprived scenarios, we could make the entire gamut of existing surgeries and surgical procedures to come, as easy and as readily available as pizza delivery.
