PLEASE SHARE: In 1999 a jury of 12 people, six black and six white, found the United States Government guilty of conspiracy to commit murder Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in under 10 minutes after hearing all the evidence accumulated by the King family. The evidence implicated the FBI, the CIA, the US Army, the Memphis Police Department and organized crime (the mob) in murder of Dr. King. Coretta Scott King noted after in the family press conference: We have done what we can to reveal the truth, and we now urge you as members of the media, and we call upon elected officials, and other persons of influence to do what they can to share the revelation of this case to the widest possible audience.” Coretta Scott King and many of Dr. Martin Luther Kings family sought this civil suit case not only for closure but so this would be taught in schools -- that this would become public knowledge. It has not... and I think we all know why. I wonder if some honor him because of his work or because he was “neutralized ” as a threat.
