Weve stirred up some controversy tonight. I think we didnt explain our vision here properly which is completely my fault. Its hard to balance being a start-up that is building a HUGE main project that has so much additional potential, having a huge rabid fan base that largely wants to help in any way they possibly can and has already given us many offers of volunteer help, and also make sure were on a path to paying the artists that we want to work with which is one of my big lifetime goals as a former arts manager. And we WILL be paying our artists. Our initial volunteers will be getting benefits at the bar when we open, and what we plan to build is a vehicle for them and others to get paid the cash monies not too far down the road. We just need that proof of concept first to help us get the funding for this new project that the ever-brilliant Ryan Bond dreamed up for us while our other money is going towards the bar itself. Ill have more to say tomorrow, but thank you to everyone that is already excited about joining our creative team, and Im truly sorry to those that were rightfully upset by the initial posting and the way we seemed to be devaluing artistic work. Ill explain some more in the morning.
