Weve surpassed 24,000 likes! Thank you for being here. HRU is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that has assisted nearly 60 horses since March 2010. We believe in responsible rescue, keeping our numbers small due to space and relying 100% on public donations. None of our volunteers receive a salary and we follow-up on each horse for life as their safety net. We currently have seven wonderful, thoroughly evaluated horses for adoption- four are talented, sound riding horses, ranging from adv. beginner-safe to advanced riding levels. Three horses drive and two are companions. $1,785 is needed to feed/care for our nine horses during October. Only a fraction of you need to send $1 (or $5) to cover these costs.
