Weve taken the Atchafalaya River to Morgan City and are now using the intra costal waterway and plan to arrive in New Orleans within the next several days. Our last several days has been spent with a motley crew of adventures. Our floatilla consisting of two canoes, a shackboat, and a sailboat. We have seen many large ocean going vessels as of recently, but are now in more of a swampy/jungle type setting with alligators, Bald Cypress Trees, 70 degree days, and many mosquitos. Bittersweet coming to the end of such a beautiful chapter in life.
